President Signs 3.9 Percent Pay Raise Into Law

It's official. Federal civilian employees will receive an average 3.9 percent pay increase beginning in January 2009. Last Tuesday night, just hours before the end of the 2008 fiscal year, President Bush signed into law a continuing resolution (CR) funding the federal government through March 6, 2009. The 3.9 percent pay raise for feds was part of that massive bill.
